All famous motivational speakers have started their career as beginners and nobody knew them. However, with the help of their talent and hard work, they have become famous worldwide and founded large companies, organizations and political parties are fighting for their services. In some cases they can even be considered celebrities of the motivational speakers branch. Here are some well known celebrity motivational speakers.

Hilary Hinton Ziglar (born 1926) is one of America's best known motivational speakers. He is also known as "Zig" Ziglar. He spent his childhood mostly in Yazoo City, Mississippi, where his father got a managerial job and announced that the little Zig Ziglar would become one of the world's most known and appreciated motivational speakers. He and his eleven brothers were left in the care of their mother after their father had died in 1932. In his young years, Zig Ziglar served in the Navy and after exiting the army, got his first job as a sales representative. He soon became very good at what he did and this helped him greatly improve his speaking talent and skills. His interest in motivational speaking also appeared around these early years of his life. From 1970, he became a full time motivational speaker after he had been vice president and training director at Automotive Performance Company since 1968.

Wayne W Dyer is another famous motivational speaker and he is best known for his appearances on US public television (PBS). Born in 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, Wayne Dyer spent most of his childhood in orphanages after his drunken father had left him. After serving for four years in the Navy, Wayne Dyer attended the counseling courses of the Wayne State University in Detroit, which he graduated with an Ed. D. Nowadays he lives in Maui, Hawaii and he has eight children. Many specialists consider him the father of motivation and he has many followers in this line of working. It is his book "Your Erroneous Zones" that draw the public attention to his skills as a motivational speaker.

Stephen R. Covey is also known as one of the most famous motivational speakers in the US as he his abroad. Born in 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah, he has published a whole series of books and articles treating motivational speeches, managerial skills and the art of organizing and administering organizations. Some of his best-known works are "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People", "First Things First, Principle-Centered Leadership", "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families" and "The 8th Habit". He lives in Provo, Utah, where he is also an university professor. He founded The Cover Leadership Center found in Salt lake City, Utah (the The Cover Leadership Center is now known as the Franklin Covey Company, after he had sold it to FranklinQuest in 1997).

Stephen Covey has a BS in Business Administration and he graduated an MBA at Harvard in Business Administration. He is also a DRE in the Mormon Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University.
